Hi all. For those of you who don't know me, I am DragonCast's GF, and casting partner. Quick background on how I got into casting: DragonCast. There. That was simple, wasn't it?
I was told I am a rarety...a female caster that actually makes herself known to the community. And...(looks down at chest) I am definately a female.
I am fairly new to casting consindering DragonCast and I have only been together for a year and a half, but I have developed a passion for it. I notice casts out in public and am constantly "pestering" DCast to let me put him in something (oh I REEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY have to twist his arm when it comes to that, trust me :)
I developed a love for bondage about 10 years ago, so the transition into casting was not that hard for me. I prefer plaster to fiber, mostly because I like the way it feels when I wrap with it. I also prefer to be the one doing the casting. My preference is braces. Leg braces to be specific.
The last cast I put DCast in was a Minerva with his arm cast to his chest (one of my personal faves). He looked great in it...and we are planning on something interesting for New Year's Eve...gotta ring in 2004 the right way, ya know?
I am hoping to be a frequent poster here...so until next time, or until I think of something moderately interesting to say, take care all.
I have to admit, I was relatively disapointed. I had been hoping, that during our travels around, that we would see a few sightings. Well, FEW is the operative word.
I saw two. In a week!
One was a well built (early twenties?) guy on crutches wearing a cam-boot on his right foot. He was keeping it off the ground at all times, even when leaning on the railing of the mall. It looked like he was still getting used to the exertion of crutching, as he appeared quite tired. That, or he had already gone all over creation in the mall :)
The other, was during the nasty checkout line, while leaving the time-share. Middle-aged woman, wearing a softcollar. Amazingly, she actually had it on correctly. I've seen upside-down, backwards, sideways, and every-which-way, but correctly lately. She walked, moved, talked, etc.... as if it wasn't there. However, not much else to look at. Very blah non-descript individual, in my opinion. She also had one of those "Olive-Oyl" annoying high-pitched whiney voices, which, detracted, in my thoughts.

I've had two sightings recently...
About a week ago, DToy's new job invited her out to a happy hour at a small country-western bar down near where she works and we live. It was a nice happening place, and some good times to be had. Two "ex" co-workers were also in the group. Both were females, in their late 30's, early forties.. (My guess). One had a nice blue SAC, that looked well worn. SHe did not seem to be affected by it at all, and did everything "normally". THe other had what appeared to be a full plaster SAC, covered in a white bandage. It had a strange bulge, as if it might have had fixation under the bandage. SHe kept her arm raised the entire time, when she wasn't using it, and favoured her arm the whole time as well.
Friday, when I was out for a smoke break, I saw a 40ish gentleman heading into the Transportation/Housing building wearing a knee immobilizer. It was waay to small for him, and he was walking and bending his knee even with it on... Had to make me wonder a touch...
